On 21 April 2018, Dexon celebrated our 20th Anniversary with a dinner at Connexion Bangsar South.
It is a big milestone especially for our founder Mr. KS Goh who have brave the worst Asian Financial Crisis back in 1997-1998 to start Dexon. From our first project of RM 250,000.00 in Gombak and a workforce of 5, we have grown and expanded throughout the years, till today Dexon have proudly completed more than 150 projects. The event started with the performance of our Dexon committee doing the “Panama Dance” to warm up the evening, follow by our milestone video which showcases Dexon journey for this 20 years. It was a video that brings back memories of Dexonians on the projects that we have completed, our achievements and the fun moment we had together. Our MD, Ir Dexter Goh delivers his speech about our journey and the challenges ahead, he urges all Dexonians to live the Dexon Code of Honour and to forge forward no matter how challenging the situation might be. The night continues with sumptuous food, exciting performances, the generous lucky draw for all Dexonians as well as for our subcons and suppliers. Our grand prize winner is En. Fikry of our Oil & Gas team from Rapid Pengerang and he walk away with a 55” Smart TV. KS Goh also gives away the Long Service Award to Ms. Yau who have been with us for 10 years while KG Goh gives away the top 3 best supervisor award. The event ended with the committee once again on the stage to perform their “Panama Dance” with the guest joining in the fun!
It was an event filled with laughter and everyone’s handphone was busy clicking away photos to capture this precious moment and the Dexon Family Whatsapp group was abuzz with photos! It’s indeed an event to remember and a gathering Dexonians would talk for years. Kudos to the committee for carrying out this milestone event and showcasing the Dexon Code of Honour: Teamwork, Leadership, Excellence, Passion, and Fun! You have all make us Proud to be a Dexonians!!
